Overview

Mera Peak Climbing is one of Nepal’s most exciting Himalayan peak-climbing adventures, combining a beautiful high-altitude trek through the remote Hinku Valley with the challenge of reaching the summit of Mera Peak (6,476 m / 21,247 ft).

The journey begins with a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and continues through peaceful Sherpa settlements, rhododendron and pine forests, alpine valleys, glaciers and high mountain terrain. After proper acclimatization and climbing preparation at Khare, the route continues to Mera High Camp before the early-morning summit attempt.

From the summit, climbers can enjoy spectacular Himalayan panoramas, including views toward Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu and Kangchenjunga on clear days.

The 14-day itinerary is designed for experienced trekkers and physically fit adventurers who want to climb Mera Peak within a limited timeframe. Because the summit is above 6,000 m, good acclimatization, appropriate equipment and professional climbing support are essential.
